This is a wiki that has been created to help us share some of the best practices that we have in place, or would like to have in place in our school.
I called it Emmakingreaders because most of us start from a sourcebook, like To Understand by Ellin Keene, or CAFE by The Sisters. However, it doesn't really have a set purpose yet.
We can narrow down or broaden out to what we are interested in. I am intrigued by the idea of a wiki, and am "unschooled" in it use, so this is a goal of mine: to incorporate a new technology every term. I feel I have just caught up with the '90's!!
So please join in. We can use this wiki for whatever ideas we come up with.
